Guess words to try to please all of the judges (represented for now by checkmarks). Each judge has something specific about the word that they care about for their judging criteria. It could be the length, something to do about the vowels or consonants, or the variety of letters included.

Note how each letter you type changes the judges' opinions. If you're able to satisfy all the judges simultaneously, you win!

Each player has the same goal word(s) each day, along with a new set of rules to satisfy. The day turns over at midnight pacific time. Compare with your friends!

I learned of Alphabet Soup for Picky Eaters during Confounding Calendar 2024 and loved it. Without spending time on the visuals or sounds, here is an attempt at trying to turn that game into one that could be played daily.

Ah yeah, that day was tricky. I think the second-to-last rule may have tripped you up a bit. Maybe you tested something like a, ae, aei, aeio, aieou?

It’s really cool that you were able to get one that fit all of these rules, though!

Here’s some other words that would have worked for that day, but I’ve used ROT13 on them to avoid spoiling anybody:

vapyhqr

vyyhfgengr

vzcrghf

vzcebzcgh

vaabphbhf

I generally made sure the code finds a set of words that includes several possible answers so that it avoids there ever being “only one possible word in English that fits”
